  • Controller

    Plessisville, QC

    Reporting to the Finance Director, the Controller takes part in managing the accounting and financial activities of the group’s various companies. The position suits an analytical, structured person who can handle several priorities in a growing manufacturing environment.

    The successful candidate will help produce reliable financial information, improve management tools, and support management with the analyses needed for decision-making.

    Main responsibilities

    • Prepare the group’s monthly financial statements.
    • Take part in managing the accounting and financial statements of the various companies.
    • Build, improve, and implement management tools.
    • Take part in implementing an ERP system.
    • Prepare year-end files for the external accountants.
    • Support the accounting team members in their tasks and priorities.
    • Assist management with various financial and operational analysis mandates.

    Desired profile

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
    • 3 to 5 years of accounting experience; an accounting designation is considered an asset.
    • Experience in the manufacturing sector.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, an ERP system, and intermediate to advanced Excel functions.
    • Excellent analytical, synthesis, and judgment skills.
    • Rigour, autonomy, discretion, and the ability to manage several files at once.
    • Advanced French; intermediate written and spoken English.

  • Assembler

    Val-des-Sources, QC · Permanent · Day shift, 40 h/week

    The Assembler assembles the components used to manufacture our products. The position calls for precision, autonomy, and the ability to work from technical instructions.

    The Assembler also takes part in quality control: spotting deviations, making the authorized corrections, and quickly reporting anomalies to the person in charge. In-house training is provided.

    Main responsibilities

    • Assemble components according to specifications.
    • Install and adjust the required components.
    • Inspect products to confirm they meet specifications and to detect visible defects.
    • Make the authorized corrections or send non-compliant products for repair.
    • Use the required equipment and tools properly.
    • Report anomalies and contribute to routine checks and quality improvement.

    Desired profile

    • High school diploma completed; 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.
    • Good manual dexterity, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
    • Autonomy and the ability to organize your own work.
    • Knowledge of industrial mechanics is considered an asset.

    Main responsibilities

    • Create and develop mechanical concepts for the company’s products.
    • Produce and update technical drawings, plans, and 3D models.
    • Work with internal teams to validate the feasibility and functionality of concepts.
    • Take part in the continuous improvement of products and design methods.
    • Use SolidWorks and AutoCAD as projects require.
    • Document design work and take manufacturing constraints into account.

    Desired profile

    • DEP in Industrial Drafting or DEC in Mechanical Engineering Technology; relevant experience is also considered.
    • 0 to 2 years of experience depending on the profile; drafting or mechanical design experience is appreciated.
    • Knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

    • Check weld quality and make the necessary adjustments according to procedures.
